Kester is a new subsidiary of InvestKedah specializing in energy management and petroleum related activities. The company will become a pioneer amongst the Kedah State Government Link Companies to venture beyond the shores of Kedah in the fields of renewable energy, bio-energy and petroleum related industries.

 

 

Decommissioning of Oil and Gas Installations

 

In collaboration with its technical partners in Norway, Kester will become a turnkey contractor for decommissioning of oil and gas installations. For this purpose, Kester has signed an MOU with its Malaysian partner, VertiGlobal Sdn Bhd.

 

 

 

Bio-Diesel

 

Despite the relatively low cost of energy and numerous optimistic estimates of large reserves of oil, coal, and natural gas, there will eventually be a time when resources run out.

 

With its partner VertiGlobal, Kester is developing a simple and economical process for converting jatropha seeds into high-quality bio-diesel fuel. The pilot project has started and commercial production will begin in 2008. We seek buyers and interested parties to become our partner in this exciting discovery.

 

 

Energy of the future

 

Kester would like to partner with interested parties in establishing projects to generate clean and inexpensive electrical energy in Malaysia, renewable energy such as solar, wind, biomass, bio-fuel and other energy related business,

 

 

 

 

 

Oil refinery

 

Kester, through its parent company, is coordinating three major petroleum-related industries in The State of Kedah. It hopes to be the major player for the state in generating revenue from the petroleum industry.
