- To establish research and information centre, training centre, business networking centre, products promotion centre and to organise and conduct general business expositions, conventions, seminars, forums and promotions.
- Hold bi-monthly “One-Stop Centre” meeting for industry.
- Hold bi-monthly meeting with industrialists, service providers and relevant government agencies in Kedah.
- To assist Kedah’s GLC in its promotions and development.
- To carry on business of general investment advisory and consultancy services.
- To assist local and foreign investors or manufactures in setting up their business office or factories in Kedah and for that purpose to liaise or deal with all government departments and agencies for approvals to such investors or manufacturers.
- Provide bi-yearly bulletin on industrial development.
- Provide assistance and consultative services to industries in Kedah.
- Provide information, flyers and other media to facilitate the economic growth for Kedah.
- To undertake economically viable joint-venture projects.
